DID YOU KNOW THAT?
Fish and chips first appeared in the United Kingdom in the 1860s, and is a common take-away food. It consists of fish (usually cod) fried in batter and served with chips.

I couldn’t find and easy fish and chips craft, so I made one myself.
Look how great it came out! If you are teaching your kids about England, then this is a craft that you can easily include in the lesson.
Here you will find a template already coloured in or, if you prefer, a black and white one that your kids can colour in themselves.
Once coloured in, all you have to do is cut-out the pieces, and glue them onto a paper plate. To give somebody to the fish, I put a small amount of cotton wool between the two pieces, then glued the edges together.
