Following on from my last post about colours, I decided to create a FREE fun downloadable worksheet.
What you can teach with this exercise
Sentence structure
- “What colour is it?”
- “What colour is the pencil?”
- “Put the jigsaw pieces together”
- “write the colour…”
Vocabulary
- Pencil
- Jigsaw
- colour
- Red, yellow, pink, etc..
All you need to do is download the pdf file, print it on to thin cardboard paper, laminate the pages and cut-out the puzzle pieces.
Get your child, or children, to match the right colour pencil to the corresponding word then trace over the dotted writing with a whiteboard marker pen.
The worksheet includes 8 different coloured pencils and 3 blank pencils that you can copy and colour in yourself. Have fun…
